The Golden Egg, Kilburn

Sunday through Thursday happy hours where pints are less than �2 and the staff are friendly...two very rare things and you can't get better than that in inner London. I love this place!

The Neeld Arms, Maida Vale

A wonderful, unpretentious place to have a pint of beer and watch the football. It's got an interesting layout because a door pretty much splits the bar area in half. I didn't like how the snooker table is right in front of the big screen - gets in the way when you're trying to watch the football - but overall I feel comfortable in this place, it's a good local where you can drop in and not have to worry about hipsters or rip off prices. Also very clean - maybe too shiny and polished for some who are used to more cozy surroundings.
