A great pub! Usually one or two guest ales on and some interesting german bottled beers. Leffe served on tap. Excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. One of my fav pubs in the area.

The Old Cross Tavern, Hertford
I agree the pub is small and yes it does get crowded at times, but I love the atmosphere and the beer is always excellent - its great that there is always different guest ales available each week.

The Lower Red Lion, St Albans
A truely classic pub in the olde worlde tradition. Great, friendly staff - superb beer and if like me you are a fan of belgium beer they have a great selection. The beer garden is great in the summer and the ale festivals are just superb. Go and enjoy!
