Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford

This used to be one of my favourites pubs, but I understand this pub has had a disappointing change of management recently (Dec 04) so it we'll have to see what it changes into.

So far, its no longer possible to go for their delicious food in a lunch hour as the service has slowed right down, women have been hassled by other pub clientele spoiling the safe atmosphere it used to have, and the new landlord himself does not seem keen to support his staff or previous regulars. Perhaps he has plans to get rid of them and create a new atmosphere for the place...??..

Interesting to see if anyone else had noticed this downturn and if anyone can suggest somewhere similar that all of us from work can go to instead
