The Farmers Arms, Wallasey

What can I say?
I arrived at the pub and read the blackboard listing the hand pulled beers:
Tetley mild - not my style but rare on hand pump.
Green King IPA - fairly standard but ok.
Adnams Southwold bitter - only 3.7% but tastes superb.
London Pride - well known and well kept.
Jennings Cumberland - top class ale well kept.
Taylor's Landlord - I really shouldn't have tried that one second.
I'll report in when I stop guzzling this excellent beer.
This might take a while.
Other points:
Decor: Genuine old pub.
Staff: Very friendly and efficient.
Clientele: See above without the efficiency!

The Swinging Arm, Birkenhead

2 real ales (including Taylor's Landlord - MINE!) with a third on the way.
Selection of other beers for those who don't like the proper stuff.
Stunning rock jukebox for when there is no live band or football on.
No karaoke. Not ever.
Sandie & Eric even madder than their customers and that takes some acieving.
Bikers welcome.
Non bikers also welcome.
Amazing pies from a local bakery.
2 mins from train station.
What's not to like?
