The Avon Packet, Southville
Excellent pub with old fashioned values and a fantastic atmosphere. Landlord has been here for over 20 years and looks after his regulars as well as giving a warm welcome to newcommers. Lovely garden to the rear with a tree house for the kids and a family of ducks to keep them occupied, along with resident friendly staffie's and a cat. A heated patio area for the not-so-warm nights and a brilliant juke-box with a full range of music from 60's to modern day which is also wired up to the speakers in the garden. Dogs welcome provided they are kept under control. I have been using this pub for about 5 years and will continue to travel across town to use it.
