The Royal Oak, Daventry
Great pub, full of character, been going here on and off for 20+ years. Now serves excellant food, not cheap, but well cooked, good sized portions with friendly staff. And the beer, proper ale usually 4 or 5 real ales to choose from and good selection of wine, again not the cheapest but never had a bad pint yet. Wish I lived closer and could visit more often.
