The Maypole, Skegby

I have called at this pub for around six months, there is always a warm welcome and they sell the best pint of Green King Abbot Ale in the area, a number of pubs in the area sell this beer but the quality varys at most of them, but it is always in A1 condition here. This is an original country pub where well behaved dogs and muddy boots are allowed. The quiz night on thursdays is well attended and a folk band visit on occasional wednesdays, a large rear lawn is very popular with families during the summer months. All in all if you are looking for a real pub, without frills and a good pint of beer this is the one for you.
