The Nightingale, Wanstead

This was always a great local with good food and excellent beer. They have now added a quirky quiz to the weekly mix on a Tuesday. Strolled in last night to find a pub full of laughter and good humoured chaos as the quiz master challenged the throng with some bizarre local questions.

With free entry and no big money prize, they have managed to avoid the anoraks and mobile phone cheats that stalk the Cuckfield, instead they have got locals sharing a pint and a joke, with 19 year olds joshing with 70 year olds.
