The Coach and Horses, Rotherwick

I would like assure BillJ that I am firmly attached to 'planet earth' and have been described on many occasions as the original 'grumpy old man' will to citicise anything and everything. However, I am a firm believer in giving praise where it is due and it is due here. We visited again during the late summer and my original thoughts were underlined. THIS IS A GOOD PUB.

I do not find it strange that 'bsmarter' posted his review at 10.22 in the morning, perhaps he went the previous evening.

To answer evnsmarter's implied charge I have no connection with The Coach & Horses whatsoever, I just enjoy good beer and good food in a good pub.

The Coach and Horses, Rotherwick

My wife & I have been here twice now with different sets of friends. What a pleasure it has been. On both occasions, one for Sunday Lunch and the other for Saturday dinner, we have arrived slightly disheveled after walking around the surrounding countryside. On both occasions we have been greeted warmly and fed and watered magnificently not to mention cost effectively. This is a real English Pub with serving good English food at fair prices and deserves to prosper. Flashy it is not, traditional it is.
