The Clarendon, Chandlers Cross

Sadly, this is no longer a pub. It's a restaurant (and an expensive one at that). It does serve beer, though they obviously don't encourage it's consumption, the pumps being well hidden below the bar! Just Greene King (Yuk!) and London Pride (the only saving grace - very nice pint indeed). Unfortunately, this is no longer the sort of casual 'drop in for a relaxing pint and a bite to eat' place it used to be. The Clarendon has been closed now for a couple of years and for me, it still remains so. Very sad indeed.
