Cat and Fiddle Inn, Macclesfield

Visited the pub today after being at Buxton carnival. Have to say, had a lovely meal there. There were 6 of us all together, each having different meals and all were fantastic! We told the waiter how nice it was and we were told all the food is homemade. A pub that does proper food and not prepacked is rare! I'm only posting this after seeing bad comments on the food, no idea what they are talking about as we thought the food was such good quality for reasonable prices! Maybe with food being rustic and homemade people expect the usual microwaved food and don't know what real food tastes like! Good real ale too!
