The Golden Ball, Pinkneys Green

Didn't think much to this newly revamped Golden Ball. Nice decor, should've spent some money paying for better chefs though. Food is obviously bought in, bland and overpriced for what you get (if you know you're getting boil in the bag' you only expect to pay 'boil in the bag' prices. Service was slow and uninspiring, lager was flat and warm. I certainly won't be rushing back here.

The Fox and Hounds Restaurant & Bar, Englefield Green

Popped back to the Fox again this week, now that its colder the log fires are burning making this gorgeous summer pub into a warm cosy retreat away from all the hustle and bustle of the real world.
Like the look of the new winter menu too. I ate the belly pork which was fantastic whilst hubby had the game pie. Perfect! Just wish we'd left room for desserts as the chocolate brownie looked superb. Oh well, maybe next time.

The Fox and Hounds Restaurant & Bar, Englefield Green

Had lunch here the other day. Fantastic pub in a great location, right next to Windsor Great Park. Food was very good with service to match. If the staff could've sorted out the weather then my day would've been perfect.
