The George Canning, Denmark Hill

Great pub, now its been refurbished again. This time they've done it right and made it look really good, with sofa's at the front which, will be prime position during the world cup and the summer when all the doors are open. Older style furniture and some re-decoration have brought it back to what it used to look like before the intervening management comany got hold of it.

The food is far better now, particularly the sunday lunch, which i had the other week and they now serve gravity poured ale straight from the barrell !

This is a pub really worth going to now and is one i'd recomend you visit if you're in the area.
