The Marlborough, Richmond

I have seen this pub go from strength to strength since Youngs & Co. took it over a while back and made investments in refurbishing this fantastic buiding, with it's impressive garedn and outdoor facility, located on Richmond Hill. Under the professional management of Natalie & Paul, this pub & restaurant from good to excellent. The relaxed ambience, combined with great service from the staff they have hand-picked, makes this a superb venue at any time during the week, whether it's a lively Friday or Saturday evening with friends or a relaxed Sunday dinner with family. The extensive wine list would serve any gastropub well, although I do think there is room for further improvement with the food menu. That said, it stands part from most in the area. I would recommend this as one of the best in Richmond.
