Ah, the old 'we shut at three but stay open 'till four on a sunday' conundrum. You're not the first and certainly won't be the last to fall foul of that - Big Slim, Mick Hucknell, they've all done it. However, i should point out that your clear lack of wit, self loathing and intelligence suggests that you really wouldn't like The Ship, or infact any pub. Why not try a coffee or tea shop next time - i'm sure you'll get the faceless service you so require there.
