The Rose and Thistle, Frimley Green

I recently moved to the village - to the houses right behind this pub. The wife and I decided to give this pub a go - we went on quite a few occasions and not once did the landlady say hello / smile at us - even when the pub was empty. At the weekends it is full of young people - and, as stated in Friendsinfrimleys comments, 'Annie supplies them all with COPIOUS amounts of booze until the early hours' - it is very uncomfortable in there - at the grand old age of 48 I feel that is somewhere too dangerous to go to at the weekend! There is definitely illegal goings on in the Gents as well - this really needs to be sorted out - and quick!! MaureenPaterson - if you are looking for a proper village pub then you should try the Wheatsheaf - great food and great staff - absolutely nothing like the Rose & Thistle.
