The Oak, Aston Clinton

A really nice pub. It's great to able to go to a village pub that has managed to deliver both a good pub experience - good beer, good service and friendly atmosphere - with great food that we have come to expect from the gastro pub scene.

Sometimes establishments can manage one or the other but The Oak has got the balance right.

It's early days for the new owners but if they continue delivering both of the above they are on to a winning combination....for themselves and the local community, who can once again enjoy a "proper" British pub within their community.

In fact the atmosphere, food, beer and service is enough to draw people from a wider area - I hope that people try the pub out.

Well done - very impressed. Keep it up!
