The White Horse, Brancaster Staithe

What a location! View, food and service all excellent. The local oysters were the best I've had in ages. Children very welcome and offered something more than sausage & chips!

The Lifeboat, Thornham

Visited the Lifeboat Man over the summer holidays. What a rare find! A pub still serving pub food and doing it very well. Service was excellent and very prompt - great when dining with young kids. Food was really good and the overall atmosphere of the pub takes you back to the years before the arrival of the 'gastro'. We shall come again when we next visit Norfolk. Children, dogs etc all very welcome.

The Engineer, Harpenden

Ate here 5 years ago and it was awful. Have just returned. New owner and now find it hard to fault. Service excellent and very friendly. Food was excellent. great traditional pub food on the bar menu and an imaginative but not over fancy restaurant menu. Would highly recommend a visit for either everyday eating out of special occasion.
