The Clarendon, Chandlers Cross

I visited this pub for the first time this weekend and can say without doubt that I will not be returning. The food was mediocre and the price extortionate! We paid �80.50 for two roast beef, two puddings, a bottle of sparkling water and three glasses of wine.
For that we got fatty meat, reasonable puddings and no atmosphere whatsoever. When we complained about the food we were told that most people don't complain and that they don't need to worry about being competetively priced, unlike well established London restaurants, as they have a huge investment.
Certainly not somewhere I would recommend.
