The Old Goat, Fulwell

Well said Andy The Landlord! We moved in to the area in Feb and we were so pleased The Goat on our doorstep. We have not been in for a while as we have been trying all the other places to eat in the area. In addition, the Roast that we had in there some time ago was a bit dissappointing. However we thought we would give it another shot on Saturday and we were lucky to get a table which we saw as a good sign. We were not dissapointed. The service was very friendly and the food great. There is a nice, warm atmosphere and it seems that some of the feedback has been taken on board. For all of those who have critisised perhaps you should have a closer look. A full restaurant speaks volumes. Of course there will always be room for improvement in any place but perhaps people should give constructive critisism instead of just being rude! I for one will be back.
