The Barge Inn, Seend Cleeve

Visited here today in a party of 5 and had a lovely experience! Our visitors from NZ were very impressed with the location!
We booked in advance and asked for a table with a good view of the canal and that's exactly what we were given. Booking seems advisable as the pub was pretty busy for a Monday lunchtime.
The mainly young staff were friendly and welcoming and very attentive. Our food was on the table 20 minutes after ordering, was well presented, beautifully cooked and delicious! Requests for variation to meals on the menu were accommodated willingly.
I'm consider myself pretty fussy when it comes to eating out, and on the strength of today's visit would be happy to recommend this pub - I will definitely be visiting again - this is echoed by my fellow diners.
Having read the comments made by previous visitors to this pub we felt we needed to post our experience - it's not the cheap end of the market but you expect to pay for quality and that is what we got today.
