The George and Dragon, Goole

The previous review seems to go to a lot of trouble slating the George & Dragon in every aspect yet does not seeem to have taken the time to give a good reveiw to any of the other pubs he recommends..

The Noise abatement was due to outside concerts supported by 80% of the villagers but disssaproved of by about 20%. This was ov er a year ago and since then the pub has had more outside events including live theatre which have caused no complaints.

However everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think the fact that the canal runs straight past the other pubs recommended, aand yet the people off the boats walk more than a mile to get to the G & D for food speaks volumes.

I suppose people will just have to try for themselves. checkout the websitefor details on menu pricing. Just try the 'chips' which are homecut aand are wworth a visit alone.
