The Old House, Warren Row

This is an interesting pub to look at, I like the decor, although it was rather cold inside and smelt a bit like wet dog.

Had the food recommended by a couple of people so decided to give it a try. I was completely disappointed, I thought it might just be that they cant cook for vegetarians but reading other peoples comments that doesn't seem the case. I ordered a wild mushroom and sage risotto, but what I got did not resemble the taste of a risotto at all. More just like all the ingredients bound in weird smelling soured cream, which also had completely no seasoning whatsoever.

I agree that the staff dont really seem to give a toss, I'd put up with that if the food was of a great quality. Go here for a drink but if I were you I wouldn't sit down to eat.
