No draught Bass from the barrel anywhere locally. Recent slight refurbishment very successful despite concern of locals and the press. A basic but hospitable pub just there for drinking and a good time. Slight worries that pressure from the owners/brewery are leading to other beers being put up in place of some Bass barrels. I love this place. It is very friendly. Bring your mates, your dog and even take away food from any nearby food source. this pub is everything you could want of a pub.
