The Ranelagh, Bounds Green

Not a bad little pub at all actually. I've lived in the area for a few years now and this pub is the best of a bad bunch, and I mean that in a nice way. A nice friendly bunch of regulars and no tv makes for a great atmosphere, and in the main, the staff are really good. Got to give a thumbs up to the Irish chap who works behind the bar (don't know his name), but he's always got a smile and is always full of chat. Pulls a great pint of Guinness too - one of the best I've had as an Irishman in London and I've lived here over 20 years.

It's not all great though - the food can be hit and miss but it's improved radically recently, and the yummy mummies with their kids can grate a bit, but all in all a decent little boozer.
