The Three Horseshoes, Laleham

Ate here on Sunday 13/07/08. Young waitress very friendly and attentive. Sadly there was a shift change during the meal and subsequently I've had friendlier service from a traffic warden. The food is very average and the chef is out of touch with what the customer is paying. I had a Chateaubriand Steak @ �16.95. The presentation was non existent, the garnish of chips, tomatoes and mushrooms was nothing more, nothing less. The steak was lying on top as though it had been dished up in a works canteen, nor was it anything like rare, as asked for. Mustards and sauces were a pile of sachets deposited in the middle of the table. Desert was Chocolate Fudge Cake which was no more than a cold wedge of Black Forest Gateau and cold custard. In all I'd say hunt around because I'm sure better presentation and a more pleasant service is available for the same cost elswhere. If the management read this I would strongly suggest you take note.
