The Swan Inn, Monks Eleigh

This place is a gem and well worth a visit while in Suffolk. The food is excellent, superbly prepared and presented. Nigel (chef) is very particular about the ingredients and everything is fresh. There are two quiet restaurant areas and a larger room for groups. Food is also served in the bar area and this is where locals may often eat while relaxing with friends and having a social drink.
Carol and Nigel are very welcoming hosts and will do all they can to make your visit enjoyable. They welcome children too and go to great lengths to accomodate and include my youngest son who has severe special needs.
