Great Western, Birmingham

A truly depressing visit. Decor so old that my decorator Grandad who died in 1978 probably did the job before he retired.
Female staff openly smoking in the area behind the bar, and only one bar open of the four that existed on my previous visit a few years ago.
The jukebox was so loud i don't know how anyone had a conversation and I mistakenly ordered a pint of hobgoblin cask ( which took some time as I waited for the girl behind the bar to finish her fag!) which had clearly been looked after by complete amateurs more used to serving the locals their staple Carling diet.
To be fair, the prices were good, just a shame that my pint cost a different amount from bar visit one to two, but both less than £3 pint.
The visit to the toilets was an experience, with one old boy almost comatose in the cubicle and not about to make way for anyone else. This was my trigger to leave, it was only 6.30pm, I dread to think the state of the place by throwing out time.
