I popped in over the weekend, it was empty. I am not surprised the Landlord is going. This pub needs a big cash injection to bring it up to a good standard. Lets hope the next Landlord can turn it around. Otherwise its going to be a block of flats in a couple of years. Again the staff again were polite albeit bored.

Having read some of the reviews it is clear that this pub had to be visited. So I did. I can only assume that the person who claimed it to be a clean pub is blind as a bat! The Gents toilet is disgusting. The staff although polite and courteous, are clearly doing the job as a filler, student's I don't think so as only one or two of them can remember more than 2 drinks at a time. However, on a good note the beer was good.
I will visit again to see if there are any improvements. Food would be a good idea, I understand there is a kitchen.
