The Old Lifeboat House, Clacton on Sea

So far the comments I've read below are interesting! I am a new local but ever since my first visit to The Old Lifeboat House I have felt welcome there. I love visiting this pub for the real ales, friendly banter and faces I have come to know & on Wednesday nights the pub also serves a choice of 4 home cooked meals, using all locally sourced ingredients, at £5 per meal. Some comments state that there are not many pubs in Clacton (apart from this one and the Weatherspoon pub) but truthfully there are quite a few pubs in the central Clacton area, and a total of approximately 32 pubs in the Entire Clacton area, some are real dives but much fun and others are very classy and include a restaurant. A pub crawl by bicycle is well worth thinking about if you come to visit Clacton but make sure you include The Old Lifeboat House in your pub crawl!!
