The Spread Eagle, Piddington

We visited this pub over a year ago and the atmosphere was a welcoming one, we drank some of the finest ales that the country has to offer and enjoyed putting the world to rights with the locals. The Pub is a typical 16th Century watering hole that is kept immaculately clean. We enjoyed smoking "outside" in an undercover shelter which had a log burner that kept us pleasantly warm in mid January. The Landlord and Landlady were excellent hosts and looked after us all evening. Overall I rate this pub as excellent and will be definitely returning.
