The Pilgrim, Dorking

Had a very relaxing lunch there yesterday. We had rare roast beef + horseradish and prawn sandwiches which were excellent. Great atmosphere - nice pint of Pride - sunshine - excellent service - lovely garden -what more could anyone want?

Crown Inn, Westcott

Friendly atmosphere, good beer, spectacular food - both quality and portions. Landlord comes from the old school in the very best English Country Pub 'mine host' tradition. Just such a shame that the external structure is shabby which is all that lets it down which is why it is only rated as an 8 by me. Very well worth a visit - just make sure you are hungry.
