The Plough Inn, Eathorpe

Visited for evening meal. Waited 50 mins for the food to arrive even though there were just a few people in the pub, goodness knows how they would have dealt with a busy night. My husband was outside having a ciggy when a car rapidly pulled to a halt outside, the chef came out and hurridly went back inside the building carrying a box....15 minutes later we finally got our meal... it appeared to be a dash for provisions. The mixed grills were so large it was offputting to see, and they were served on stainless steel meat platters...more like feeding time at the zoo!!
The pub totally lacks atmosphere and the menu was 75% chicken dishes, and far too pricey. I would certainly not recomment this pub to anyone, there are far better in the area.
