The Kings Head, Kingsdown

A lovely place to be. I have to agree with the other reviews about this being the best of the three nice pubs in the village. We spent a couple of evenings there, and always felt welcome. Good beer, good atmosphere and superb food. Had a nice chat with the landlord who explained that a new extension had just been built, so maybe the "concrete builders yard" found by the previous reviewer was to do with it. Outside we just found tables, chairs and a skittle alley..no rubble!
Cracking pub..will go again.
