The Harp Inn, Letterston
This pub was the only downside of our lovely holiday in Pembrokeshire with a large group of friends. Despite the pub being rather dull with no atmosphere, it was local to our holiday house so we agreed to meet up there with friends and children for dinner at 6pm. Went in with our disabled 8 yr old boy Cam, and his assistance dog Freddie, only to be refused entry because they didn't allow dogs. I offered to show the land lady Freddie's offical accreditation card from Dogs for the Disabled and Department of Health, which explains his special training and allows him into restaurants, pubs and cafes - but she refused to even look at it! So we went to the Sloop Inn in Porthgain instead, where the staff did everything they possibly could to welcome Cam and Freddie, and the food and atmosphere was marvellous. The Harp Inn lost out on a lot of money!
