The Swan Inn, Hanham

A lovely little local pub which is well kept and has friendly staff. One particular barman seems to be in fast forward mode as he is so quick at doing stuff behind the bar than you've got your drink and paid for it before you can contemplate anything else, gave me a good laugh.
Locals are friendly, home made rolls are on offer at a £1 each incase you get peckish. Prices are a little high, but that's the economy we're living in, it's only going to get higher.

The Blue Bowl, Hanham

Nice pub, it used to be alot better before it's refurb, but that's my preference of old pubs - it had a gorgeous layout with flagstones, etc. Now it's more modern, and a Sizzler pub.
It could do with a few more staff - service is very slow, the bar is more often empty than not, leaving people waiting, and food recently has taken a very long time to come out. I understand pubs can get busy, but in the middle of the day with barely anyone but drinkers there, it was odd to experience a wait of over 45 minutes.

Overall, it's a nice pub though. It just needs more staff.
