The Greyhound Inn, Burgh by Sands

Utter incompetence does not even begin to describe the staffing of this place, the potential is excellent but is dismally let down by its staff, whomever "manages" this place could easily replaced by a small book that you could open once every fifteen minutes and read a short insincere platitude as to why you are not getting your meal, even when notified about a member of our party who suffers from type 1 diabetes, a condition that requires careful monitoring of blood sugars and properly timed eating habits seemed to pass completely over the heads of the staff when they were notified, I really would not recommend this pub to anyone unless I really disliked them, what should have been a special day out for three generations was ruined by ignorance and incompetence, there were no apologies offered, just a lot of tutting and eye rolling, disgraceful behavior and completely inexcusable
