Beer is often very good here but too many veggies! that's a serious complaint. veggies are really dull!

This bar proves that you can't always trust Camera and the Good Beer guide. How they got listed is baffling but suspect it may have a connection with their full page adverts in Cameras' regional magazines?? I've visited many times over the years and it's almost the opposite to cameras' politics. Here we have poor to average ale at prices which would be considered rip-off in central London. The bottled beers may be alright and to be fair an effort is attempted but listed in the guide, no way!! Last visit, last week barmaid dull and rude hence quick exit.(where's Suzy?) Better pint and value at English Lounge or even Bar Centro just down the road.

not let me down so far and the staff appear to enjoy their work which makes a change. Food very good and excellent value and most cask ales are between acceptable to very good condition. So far unspoilt by surrounding developments and not too trendy. Rare find.
