The Camber Castle, Camber

A huge pub that yes, could probably do with a refurb; but it does what it says on the tin! In a small seaside village the staff in this pub create a family friendly atmosphere with good value food and fairly priced drinks.

Entertainment most weekends and 2 pool tables in a separate area make for a nice change from the overpriced holiday parks in Camber these days!

The Elmer Hotel, Middleton on Sea

Wow! Just had to write to share about our weekend. The Elmer Hotel is in my opinion a lovely traditional pub; with a sports bar 'end' Pool table, TVs etc then a quiet restaurant 'end'. The food is freshly prepared and generously served by happy, friendly staff.

The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and quiet - believe me I was worried about sleeping in a room above a pub - but this was truely hotel standard. Breakfast once again was generous in its portions and most importantly hot and fresh. Cereal was also available but hell I'm on holiday!

A great place to stay with parking and 5 mins from the beach; we will be back :)
