The Blue Anchor, East Aberthaw

I visited the Blue Anchor last weekend for a meal in the upstairs restaurant. The atmosphere was great, but that is the only positive thing that I can say about the place. The meal was definitely average and not worth the price they charged. The choice of menu was very limited, with no chicken on offer! Now, surely everyone expects to see chicken on the menu. The service was forgetful with the waitress having to be reminded of items ordered but did not arrive. The beer was very expensive. I will not be going there again and will not recomend it to others. I can think of several other restaurants in the Vale that offer better service for far less cost.
