Yew Tree Inn, Sandling

As noted is physically almost in the shadow of the M20, but it's amusingly easy to get lost trying to get here from the motorway! Chose this place as a GBG-listed place to get lunch about halfway from London to Margate, but it's more than just a motorway-convenient stopover - the beer (all Shepherd Neame, pretty much unavoidably for these parts I think) is well kept and it's not hard to tell that the (good) food is actually *cooked* here, rather than just heated up. Looked popular with locals for Saturday lunch.
