The lounge is the haunt of an older clientele who probably can't make it over the railway bridge to the town. The public bar is grim and basic. The beers ok though.

One of the only two pubs in Saltcoats where you'd choose to drink unless you like sticky floors and watching your back!
Usual attractive Wetherspoons prices makes it normally pretty busy but it nearly always suffers from not having enough staff causing waits at the bar and for food at times. However, still the best pub in the three towns.

Interesting building with very impressive interior and usual decent range of beers (and prices) that you expect from Wetherspoons.
If you're staying at one of the Quayside Travelodge type hotels and are looking for a cheap breakfast - don't come here for it - the morning we went, there wasn't even bread for toast, and no eggs or sausages, never mind anything else. Smacks of dodgy management....

A smashing pub - not to be missed when in the Toon. Gets busy though - sometimes with really loudmouthed 'suits'. Choose your time though and it's great!

The Lemon Tree, Kilwinning
Nice wee town centre pub, very clean and welcoming. Does excellent value lunches, but you might struggle to find a seat.
