The Lamb Tavern, Leadenhall Market

Great pub if youre into meeting men in suits. Yep this pub has it all - 900 men in varying shades of black and grey with bad ties and shirts stapled into their trousers by a belt sitting on a 90 degree angle due to their expanding waste lines.... the talk is all the same; has-been financial boys claiming they made money in the 90's... these blokes are the rejects from the real city trader pubs... think I prefer to listen to my Dad tell me how hard it was in the 80s when interest rates were 19% than go in here and listen to the diatribes from post-40 balding men who are on there second divorce... oh did I mention they serve beer here as well ? the place stinks like piss and they serve plates of chips for a fiver that a rodent wouldn't eat... give it a miss... better places town.. hint: try the Jamaican Inn.

The Kings Arms, Liverpool Street

If you were stabbed to death with the butt end of a pool cue in this place nobody would think it out of the ordinary.... bland pub, with bland people, serving bland beer with bland music on the sound system... if you're bland this is the place for you.

The Pitcher and Piano, Bishopsgate

This place is dubbed: "The Gateway to Essex"; Why ? 678 girls everyday in very short skirts get off the train at Liverpool St hoping to meet city traders with loads of cash (the pub is opp Liverpool St). What they meet is guys in cheap NEXT suits with Jamie Oliver haircuts claiming they earn 900,000+ a year.... if you're a chic from Essex the only thing you'll get out of this place is the phone numbers from 400 reptiles who want to get down your pants and who knows you might just take one or more of them home !

Same old P&P in design but particularly distasteful due to the meat market interactions.

The Abbeville, Clapham South

Great local pub and been known to be frequented by the guy from Little Britain (not thats a reason to go here), has good food, good beer but the atmosphere is what that makes this pub... great in the summer and try to get a seat on the footpath or in the front room which has opened doors outside.... also serves good coffee...

The Frog and Forget-Me-Not, Clapham

What happened to this place ? Used to be the pick of Clapham's pubs with a good crowd.. now its a hole and I wouldn't go there even if was to meet Kate Moss on a date... the crowd that use to reside here has moved down to the Tim Bobbin... if you're a smoker don't bring your cigarettes as you can just breath in the smoke filled air and smoke about a packet in 15 minutes...

The Atlas, West Brompton

This pub is a cracker... hidden away and has a great beer garden.... not full of Earls Court aussie reptiles and possibly has the best steak this side of London... great clientele and good beers.... go here and go nutz !

Belushi's, Fulham

This is a aussie reptile cesspit... if you are an FOB aussie (Fresh off the boat) go here and you can meet other aussies ! Wow ! To think you can spend 1000 to buy a plane ticket from Australia to London to meet aussies ! What an experience, Go for Gold ! and if youre lucky you might pull one as well thats if you have your own place because 96% of the clientele in here are looking for a bed for the night or live in a house with 47 other people in the same room)

The Harwood Arms, Fulham

This pub is a corker and I love it.. great food and good beers on tap... great manager who will always tries to find you a table even when there is 9000 people in the pub... nice wooden tables and doesn't look like IKEA All bar one showroom... great atmosphere not full of reptile Fulham aussie which is a plus (you can meet them at the Slug or in Subway at 11:08pm) but you do get the odd 20-something Chelsea set walking around with brochures from Foxtons for houses they presumably cost more than the pub... (or maybe they are just Foxtons estate agents in training ?)

The Calf, Clapham

If you want to buy a drink forget it ! It amazes me on the busiest of Saturdays they will only have two bar staff on for a bar this is as long as Thames... therefore you get 487 people trying to buy a drink off two people... of course there is always a gaggle of girls in front of you who order elaborate cocktails and then get there boyfriends pints of Guinness which take just as long to pour and then they pay on 56 different debit cards which means you dam near dehydrated by the time you get served... this of course is if you get served because the bar staff seem to ignore you sometimes even if you have been standing there for a week.... if you want a beer go elsewhere or get there at 4pm and order 14 pints and enjoy the night ! Bad place. forget it.

The Bobbin, Clapham

I like this pub; its a gem and either it hasnt been discovered by the rest of Clapham or they are too scared to go inside... you get real locals in this pub, good beers and good food... its nice going into a old fashioned styled boozer where you can sit down, relax and not feel like your on the set of Hollyoakes.... the pub is in a quite residential street and there is people all day dropping in for one or two drinks or as a starter pub.. for this reason you get a steady flow of very interesting people in the pub... corker !

The Cat's Back, Wandsworth

Went here after the Queen Adelaide (which is just across the road) and what a pub... it was about 12am and we couldn't be bothered with the whole "dush dush" club thing so this little gem was a great surprise... very chilled, low lighting (good for bad complexions) and lots of knooks and cranny's to hide in.... I highly recommended it and know doubt in time it will be ruined by the Chelsea set....
