The Kings Head (Low House), Laxfield

An excellent traditional English village pub used by locals. The ale is good - no pipes to need cleaning - and so is the food.

I am from the older generation and I would not ever go into this place - appalling. Busy on weekend evenings so I am told

The Grapes, Mathew St, Liverpool

A bit hard, Mr PalmWine Drinker. It certainly is not what it was but the mixed grill is still great value and the Cains well worth drinking

The Brewery Tap, Liverpool

Excellent - recommended for food and beer. Ordinary but that's a compliment and a bit out of the way

The Farndon Arms, Farndon

Always a pleasure. Ale is good and so is the food. An open fire in the winter adds to the welcome and the hanging baskets almost hide the pub in the summer.
