The Carpenters Tavern, Dundry

lovely traditional pub at the top of Dundry.
Very reasonable prices and always a good selection of specials chalked up on the board.
Spotlessly clean for such an old building.
Large garden and play area for the children.
One of my local favourites.

The George Inn, Farleigh

We have been visiting this traditional pub for the last five years.
Lovely restaurant area. Never had a bad meal here.
The midweek offer of two courses for 6.95 is good value for money.
Desserts are lovely and are large portions.
Lots of specials on the blackboard.
It has a nice garden with a covered terrace area.
One of my favourites.

White Hart, Congresbury

Visited on Sat 25th of september. We wanted something special so i opted for the fillet steak 18.95 and my husband the rump steak 13.95.
Although the steaks were ok,we were extremely disappointed with the 'seasonal vegetables',that accompanied both mains, namely, three small lettuce leaves and a couple of carrot shavings.
We dont mind paying for good food but we left feeling as though we had been ripped off.
We will not be eating there again.
