The Chicago Rock Cafe, Basingstoke
Years ago kinda 2004ish this was a great sat nigter venue but the last four years this has been a total waste of money as the music people have been shite like a bad school disco, what ever happened to the good sound system and lights that where in there with the smoke machine was a wicked set of tunes every sat, it was always wall to wall packed, shame its just a TURD of a venue now.

When re-launched the new york club upstairs was surperb music wise, but now its a shocking TURD of a venue, cant this company keep anything half good for more that six months, JOKE JOKE JOKE AVOID!!!!!

Fcuk me yet another chicago rock! and YEs yet again a real TURN of a venue, the guy below said it had GASTRO FOOD! compared to what? poo & chips???? Discusting yet again, did how maybe this one might be better than other TURD crc's but sadly no! AVOID AVOID AVOID

LOOK HOW MANY MAILS ARE FROM THEIR PR/MARKETING DEPT BELOW, it will take more than a lick of paint to polish this rotten turd, its the same venue, the same staff, the same music, the same rubbish food (my friend was mad enough to try it again and they waiting over an hour for the mains only then to be cold and wrong) it has the same bar and prices and fights! AVOID AVOID AVOID. If this is your venue you should be ashamed if you this pait and a few marketing mails on here will sort it.

What a dive! The worst toilets ever, no lock no paper but worst still NO PAN AT ALL. What a total dive 1000ft under. Also the venue stinks and is so dirty, music is chicgos only worse, how is that possible?

What a shocking hole and waste of space, dirty venue, dirty toliets with no paper and an inch of piss all over floor, ladies was just as bad!!!! �4 a drink which is ok if your getting the quality of serivce and standards however this is worst than a �1 fight a night back street pub in peckham, there were three fights upstairs with doorman laying into some poor guys and ripping his shirt off who was just standing near! and no bar service on a sat night just two people serving at 12pm on a big bar and they were a waste of oxygen!! went back down stairs and that was worse with broken glass everywhere and the place was not even that busy, the WORST experience ever for me. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I have since spoke to loads of people who have had the same or worse experience. Revoke the licence! 100% shocking.

what the heck is happening to this place just when it had all changed and was under new ownership (louise sold it after 5mins - no loss there sorry louise) and the new people turned it around and it changed into a safe place with funny entertainment every weekend and it was a great place to go all clean with chatty staff and high st service standards, now apart from marlbrough head bands theres no place for entertainemnt (too rough in there now though), then from nowhere the scum is back in the place again, without question the madest pub in the uk one second its up then its through the floor???????? AVOID (again!) is this place owned by a brewery or what something should be done
