Compton Inn, Compton Dando

Have been back and is now under new management. Much busier than before, food menu is more varied, atmosphere is more casual and is very welcoming to everyone including children. Now have TV which not sure if is good thing but was pleased to see it was not always on.
Same staff as before which was nice as girl on bar very efficient and friendly.
A lovely country pub in idyllic setting.

The Crown, Saltford

This pub seriously needs some life breathed into it. With a few pounds spent on it and some energetic and more friendly staff this place could be really good, but as it stands the food is below average, takes hours to arrive (wouldn't be so bad if it was worth the wait but its not) the bouncy castle in the garden has been left deflated on the ground outside for over a year and kids don't understand why they could not use it. It is such a shame as this place could be good.

A beautifully renovated olde public house, We had a meal which was far superior to what you would expect from a pub and would take quite some beating it is a real find. Also a very pleasant countryside setting. An excellent wine list, efficient and friendly staff. Book a table and you will not be disappointed.

A lovely country pub which offers fabulous food well above the standard you would expect from a pub. Everyone there are very friendly and welcoming.
