Decent pub with good clientelle and atmosphere. Limited entertainment however and can be a bit quiet at weekends - largly due to a lack of any promotions

The Railway Tavern, Penicuik
Staff friendly, general atmosphere good although slightly marred by the younger folks at weekends who can get a bit aggressive due to consuming/not being able to handle too much drink. Decor is terrible.
