The Eagle Inn, Dover

The Eagle is run by Kevin and his team and does a roaring trade in Real Ale, homemade rolls and lagers of all descriptions. I'm told the Guiness is superb! Music most weekends, excellent jukebox and a friendly atmosphere. Ales are from Nelson Brewery (Chatham, Kent) and others but the pub is not tied.

The Fox Inn, Temple Ewell

The Fox is a friendly village pub specialising in everything. It is a pub for everyone; Real Ale, good food, excellent landlord & landlady, good company, large garden, regaular BBQs, skittle alley.

Walking distance to Kearsney station too.

The Golden Lion, Dover

Don't forget the Golden Lion Winkle Club which (quietly) has raised thousands for anyone who needed it. The last president of the club was the Queen Mother, now it's Lord Boyce the new Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports.

Rab & Theresa are unique.

Blakes, Dover

Blakes obtained the 6-firkin stillage from The Mogul when that pub closed and attracted most of the former Mogul regulars. The beer range has improved (micro-breweries featured), the quality is up & the prices down a little. Expect GBP 2.20-2.30 per pint for real ale.
