The Fluid Bar and Kitchen, Newcastle

I drink in here all the time and its a good pint, but it can be a nightmare on match days getting served. Had some really awful meals in here, used to be spot on but for some reason, it has gone downhill since it first opened. My friends dont like this pub because the kitchen is in the main bar and reckon you can smell all the grease and fat and puts them off their beer. I cant tell myself but thats probably cos too busy drinking. Its toilets are clean and warm!
Not particularly cheap neither, but hey they do have a free juke box.

Crows Nest, Newcastle

Drink in here regularly through the week after work and never had any trouble with the manager. Perhaps because we are regulars that they dont bother us about having a drink in our hand.
Place used to be a nightmare when LFC played, as all the student fans seemed to come out of the woodwork. Gets really busy when big televised games are on so can be a bit of a squash. I like the place, but its not somewhere you would necessarily stay for more than a few. Toilets clean, most of the staff serve you fairly quickly. Never had the food but always looks nice.

The Bodega, Newcastle

Excellent bar. Clean, superb bar staff, always friendly and easily served even on busy match days. Toilets clean and regularly checked. Great atmosphere on match days without any bother between home and away fans. Kids can go in on match days

The Beehive, Newcastle

Dont expect young trendy people in here. It is an old fashioined pub full of the old regular punters, gets a bit boisterous, but fabulous for post footie match drinking. Really cheap and good atmosphere.
